WEAVE FairTrade is honored to partner with MADE51 in this collection of refugee hand-made products. MADE51, a UNHCR Organization, is dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights, and building a better future for refugees.
MADE51 works locally with refugee artisans to advance livelihoods and stimulate local economies. MADE51 sees the potential in the millions of refugees across the world and believes in supporting their skills and talents. Through the support of MADE51, WEAVE FairTrade has been able to provide refugee artisans with continuous income and has allowed for more artisans to be trained and earn livelihoods. WEAVE Fair Trade Social Enterprise (WFT-SE) works with the marginalized, refugees and disadvantaged ethnic women from Burma and in Northern Thailand. WFT-SE facilitates access and opportunities to generate safe and fair income through handicrafts development and support to preserve time-honored artisanry and culture.

Ancient techniques
